Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com Took a Look at the 2018 BMW i3

One of the experts at Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com recently reviewed the 2018 BMW i3, noting that the vehicle pairs an unconventional styling with innovative technology to create an electric vehicle that stands apart from its competition.

The reviewer commented favorably on the vehicle's available ACC Stop & Go + Active Driving Assistant advanced safety system, which helps maintain a set distance from the car ahead when the i3 is going more than 19 mph. Parking Assistant also drew praise for its ability to parallel park the i3 for you at the touch of a button after a proper parking space has been found. This autonomous system takes control of the vehicle's steering, braking, acceleration and gear selection to handle things for you.

The i3 is motivated by an electric motor that draws power from a lithium-ion battery. This engine makes 170 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque, and delvers an electric-only driving range of 114 miles. If you'd like, you can opt for a range-extended model that adds a supplemental gasoline engine -- which functions only as a generator -- to pick up another 66 miles of driving range.
